It was an action packed weekend. My good friend Jon and his wife Stephanie were in town visiting and I was intent on selling Chicago as they are thinking of moving here while he goes to Business School. So ate well, drank well and took in as much of Chicago as physically possible.
The highlights were the "Bull & Bear Bar" where we reserved a booth with beer taps built right in. The food was great, but you cant beat your own beer on tap! Also we got to hang out in the roof top bar of the Witt Hotel downtown.... can you say Yuppie? And even though I have been on the River Architecture Tour of Chicago a number of times, it never gets old, and is an awesome way to see the city on a beautiful day, and we had a spectacular afternoon to do so.
Holly also got to partake in the action, as we headed to the beach... and she loves to run on the beach!
Now time to get some lunch and recover :-)
